Our spacious ground floor warehouse is easily accessed, fully equipped, and capable of handling freight of any size. Our facility is fireproof; weather controlled, and is located in the most secured area of NYC, providing us with 24-hour security patrols and gate checkpoints.
We are professional, modern and up-to-date. Strand has an in-house, modern crating facility developing high standard crates of various sizes based on your needs, to withstand any harsh voyages. In the course of our years of operation, we've developed some unique packing techniques and materials - which you will not find elsewhere - all to make your goods arrive safely at your destination. We inspect and give special care to all goods arriving at our warehouse, and our computerized facility provides on line information for all entries.
We provide you with firsthand service in the US and Israel. We do not believe in assigning your business to others. For years now, we have provided solid service to and from Israel. In 1996, we opened a second hub in Israel to respond to the growing needs of such a center. With the hub in Israel, we are able to control all the logistics of import and export to and from Israel and the region in-house. We will handle everything for you, so you are free to deal with other matters before you leave. We know that moving to another country forces you to deal with numerous issues at the same time. We are very experienced. Call us for service and you'll be free to sort out your things slowly, wrap-up some personal matters, and spend time with your coworkers, friends and family before you leave. We can assist you with purchasing appliances and household goods. We will receive goods on your behalf at our warehouse prior to your moving date. We will pack and pickup goods from your home, and consolidate them with your purchases to crates and/or containers before shipping. We will ship it by air or via ocean based on your needs, and issue an all-risk insurance policy on your behalf. We will handle all export documentation at the point of origin, and process it through customs at destination. We will deliver your goods to your residence and help you with their initial setup.
